My neighbor's house has been empty for quite some time now. Reason being is that the owner is selling it at RM 750,000 solid price. No barge. And no one really wants to pay that amount for it. So there's this cat who's always there sleeping or just relaxing. I managed this shot as it kept looking at me. Or maybe it knew I was taking a picture of it, quite a poser eh?
Funny thing is my mom was reversing her car some time ago on a rainy day, and this cat's (in picture) mom (while this cat in picture was a baby) was taking refuge under my mom's car. And without noticing, this cat got rolled over, there was blood everywhere and we had to clean it up. Probably left this cat an orphan. But see how big it has grown. Talka bout survival of the fittest huh.
Well focused and full of character.
Do you think a closer crop might emphasize the cute subject a little more?

@ColNed Pictures: They are! Captivating! Thanks
Cats have an unbelievable healing. I raised cats since kids. I love cats. I've seen so many hard injuries, like broken legs. But they manage to heal by themselves. Amazing.

@Ayie: For a moment I forgot about that on cats, but yeah now that you've mentioned it, I remember. Yeah, amazing animals they are!

@mirliflore: Thankn you mirliflore!
I think the shot cropped would be nice (like tengtan said) but I like it uncropped as well. I think the leaves on the cement match the color of the cat really well. And the contrast between the cat and background is beautiful. You could get so many different photos with just this one shot. :) Reallly nice work here.

@Shrig: Haha, yeah I'll do that some time soon. Didn't think about the leaves matching the color of the cat, but you noticed, cool! Thanks Shrig!
I love the picutre! I wouldn't crop it. I like the setting and if you cropped it, you would loose that. Very nice picture, one of my favorites!

@Michael: You think so? Haha, maybe it does. It climbs on my dad's car to get to it's home on the roof. Cheeky too. Thanks!

@JJCN: Thanks JJCN!
Nice portrait of a cat. Those pieces scattered around it by the wind harmonize in color with the cat and add a quality of abandonment. Very nice image.
