Test Fire

Posted by Josh (Vancouver, Canada) on 4 September 2007 in Cityscape & Urban.

Managed to make it for the finale of the International Fireworks Competition at Putrajaya last night. This was one of the first few test fires before they turned off all the lights and start for real. The timing was perfect as there was a heavy drizzle before it all started, and that heavy drizzle stopped about a few minutes before they started the competition finale. Oh and one more thing, is it me or like is the horizon slanted? I didn't place it straight?
Anyway, this is only my second time taking shots of fireworks so they aren't that good. Most of my shots didn't turn out very nice, probably only a few. Don't really know how to edit them properly too so this is by far the best I can do to my eyes. Any tips? Corrections? Drop a comment! Thanks!
